Mr. Ashikul Islam is having affection for Communication, psychology, Culture and Film. He is graduated in Journalism & Media studies with specialization in Communication, Film and Aesthetics. He has achieved Bachelor and Master Degree in Journalism & Media Studies with specialization in theoretical approaches in media, New Media, Communication and Cultural Dimension and diversity at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has been working as Research Assistant( New Media) at Research for Advancement of Complete Education—(RACE) in Dhaka for last two years. He is the contributor of publication titled 'Understanding the Primary Schooling of Bangladesh' published by Research for Advancement of Complete Education—(RACE)where he served as an honorary Research Fellow.
In addition, he worked as a newsroom editor at NTV. Earlier he worked as a representative at BDYouth. Creative writing, using journalistic forms of literature and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of contents is his specialization.
Voluntary works: worked as rapporteur and volunteer on 23 rd Conference of Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities, served as Blood Donner several times.
Interest: Film, Journalism, Psychology, Fiction and Traveling.
Research work: Representation of women on Daily newspaper - perspective Bangladesh.
